Jena – Porstendorf
Currently, our tours are contactless and passenger transfers by public transport (Deutsche Bahn) are recommended!
Starting and landing points are always near a railway station.
At the starting point at the Grieß Bridge, in addition to the picturesque atmosphere, the Kunitz House Bridge, restored according to historical models, and the ruins of Kunitzburg Castle can be admired.
With the boats, participants leave the city area on a near-natural route where paddlers can encounter beavers, kingfishers and co. until they reach the weir before Porstendorf. Here they cross over into the Laache to Rabeninsel. On the Mühlgraben before the weir at the finish, there is only little current at the end of the tour and the straightening helps with landing.
After arriving at the Rabeninsel landing point, the tour ends in a cosy beer garden.
